The founder and CEO of the institution and a leading orthopaedic surgeon,Dr lebei,heeded to the call of his numerous clients who hailed from the community within Uasin Gishu County and throughout the country to establish a facility that would enable them have ample space to see him for consultations and make it easier for those under admission to seek attention for further reviews
In 2012 after several consultations and discussions St Luke Orthopaedic and Trauma Hospital was incorporated as a healthcare service provider
The rising demands of the community for better healthcare has also resulted in the institution investing heavily in the latest technology regarding Machinery.
St Luke Orthopaedic and Trauma Hospital was the first to bring in 1.5 Tesla MRI machine,which serves the entire North Rift region and the greater South Rift area.
